Weird....

I signed on to my blog for the first time in a week and the previous post said it was a draft. That post was actually from last Friday not today (Wednesday).

Little Bill had his football banquet on Saturday and he got a game ball for best defense for the last game. The one he had two sacks and two fumble recoveries in. He was so surprised. When we were in the car on the way home he was looking at his ball and said this ball is used. Yes son that's why they call it a game ball. He didn't realize that meant it was a ball they actually used in a game. That made it even more exciting for him. He had a pretty good season for his first year and is already counting down till next year.

Annie is finally done with soccer and had a fun season as well. She played well and scored a goal this year. She really had fun and her coach surprised all the kids with medals that had their names engraved in them. Of course the A in her name wasn't capitalized but it was still nice just the same.

Aly broke up with her boyfriend of almost two years. She finally realized that he is holding her back from truly enjoying college and all that goes with it. She is loving the sorority stuff and all the new friends she is making (guys and girls).

Little Bill and Annie are getting ready to play basketball. Little Bill tried out and made a select team this year so that will mean our weekends will be full until March traveling all over for games. This will be a good experience for him as well as a big expense for us. Annie will be playing in a church league so she'll just be practicing one day a week with games on Saturdays for two months so it won't be too bad. She cheered last year so we were surprised she decided to play basketball this year and not cheer.

Gotta run we are going out to dinner with friends tonight. Should be fun. We are going to Applebees, they have half price appetizers until 7:00 so we usually order 4 or 5 and call that dinner for the family. The kids love it and I love it because we can eat for half the price, last time we went we spent $25 for dinner for 4 of us and that included tip. Yes we all had water to drink but that's usually what we get anywhere we go.

Oh yeah gas is less than $2.00 a gallon in our area right now. We all know it won't last and soon after the election next will it will go back up probably higher than it was a month ago.
